Abdel is a seasoned venture builder and investor with 23+ years of experience in R&D, B2B sales, operations, and entrepreneurship. He has a strong track record in company building, go-to-market strategy, and EMENA expansion, with a focus on frontier and emerging markets.

He has syndicated early-stage investments in two startups now nearing acquisition, angel-invested in several others, and actively built and scaled startups from the ground up. Abdel is known for sourcing and backing high-potential deals across EMEA, particularly in AI, fintech, and deeptech, bridging capital, operational expertise, and market access to accelerate growth. He is also part of the 500 Global venture community.

Abdel holds a Master’s in Strategic Management, an MBA, and completed executive education in Negotiation at Harvard. He also holds a Bachelor’s in Microelectronics, where he contributed to building a 1-micron R&D cleanroom and specialized in thin film deposition for IC manufacturing.

He is passionate about supporting frontier technologies like AI, machine learning, quantum computing, and robotics that transform health and unlock opportunities in emerging markets — and is especially excited to help people live healthier, longer, and more fulfilling lives as they age.
