Min Bang, PharmD

Min Bang is a Venture Analyst Intern at 1004 Venture Partners, where he focuses on healthcare, life sciences, and technologies that improve care delivery for aging populations. He brings a rare operator-investor perspective, shaped by his experience leading pharmacy operations across U.S. Air Force hospital systems, Sutter Health and UCSF Health.

At UCSF Health, Min serves as a pharmacy operations leader overseeing inpatient and oncology infusion operations. He recently directed a $3M clinical facility expansion, drove $2.4M in annual cost reductions through data-driven operational improvements, and helped build Epic-integrated digital infrastructure to strengthen medication traceability and workflow reliability. This frontline experience gives him a practical lens for evaluating healthcare startups, especially their ability to scale within complex, regulated health systems.

Min is an MBA candidate at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, where he focuses on healthcare strategy, life sciences, and venture investing. He holds a PharmD from the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis, is board-certified in sterile compounding, and is an alumnus of the UCSF Entrepreneurship Program.
